OMG I am in Love

I just bought my first set of Crystal Palace needles and oh my God I don’t think I can ever go back to my semi-crappy Clover bamboo needles…I think these just might get that sweater done a bit quicker :o) I finally decided on a sweater, it’s a lovely cardi from ChicKnits. I’m using an acrylic yarn *gasp* but it is super soft and super easy to work with and also super cheap in case I screw up :o)

Links etc

I’ve finally managed to figure out how to add links to this thing - I added knittting links for now. I also wanted to talk a bit about how much knitting has helped me become a calmer person. I didn’t think it possible since I’m pretty high-strung (as my family and significant other can attest) but when I’m knitting I feel very calm and am able to almost meditate. It has helped me alot - and it has helped me lose weight since I can’t eat when I knit! 20 lbs and counting!
