Then there was…
A trip to Webs in NoHo with Mom, Amanda, Abi and myself. I picked up a skein of laceweight merino that was pointed out to me by Skrilla (along with some other things but in the interest of all involved I will not go into details here – lets just say there were no ill effects and I will make sure to read any signs regarding yarn ‘ingredients’ before I start touching things ;o) ) and three skeins of Noro Silk Garden (two of which turned into a one-ish skein wonder). Skrilla is very nice in person, btw and I hope to be able to make it to one of their knit-togethers so I can get to know her better.

There was the party for Brian and Tiffany on their first anniversary…what did we get them, you ask?
yep, a ream of staples multi-use paper. If you hadn’t already figured out my sense of humor that oughta do it for you. And, in case you are still wondering why…the traditional first year gift is….PAPER.

I’m going to do this in bits and pieces so there isn’t a five page post that everyone has to wade through…
First, I finished the Dale Svale tank:
and although it looks like it suffered from being worn on someone with sweaty armpits it did not – that is my attempt at ’speed-blocking’.
