That’s it for now…I have been doing some knitting, I started socks for Roger (his birthday present) but decided I didn’t like the KnitPicks sock yarn so much and ordered him some LL in Navy ;o) I’ve made some pretty good progress on the v-neck now that I have Addi’s - I’m flying along!! Woo! The needles came on Saturday so they got here in record time from England - YAY!! Oh, I also made a hat on Saturday for a friend’s birthday. I’ll have photos soon!!

Oh - I also joined the ‘Sexy Knitters Club‘ - you can see the button if you click on Rings, Clubs & Swaps to the right —>

Happy Birthday to….the most wonderful man in the world

Monday, November 14th, 2005

Hello there, this is the Birthday Fairy here coming to you from the abnormally warm Northeast. I swear to you, this will be the last Birthday for a while. AND I’ll have some knitting content soon. WITH pictures.

So here I go again…the top five reasons why you should wish Roger a Happy Birthday:

1. He is very considerate. I have alot of trouble falling asleep (but once I’m there I have alot of trouble waking up - thank God) so if the dog needs to go out at 2am guess who gets up? That would be Roger. Every night. For six and a half years.

2. He is thoughtful. He works in the city alot (NYC for those not from around here) and whenever he does work there he comes home with two dozen roses and a half dozen Krispy Kreme’s. Sometimes I get *really* lucky and he brings home pastrami from the Carnegi Deli ;o) He has literally driven around Manhattan until he has these things and doesn’t come home without them.

3. He is patient. There is only one other man that I know that would allow a child to do this to him

AND not care if I took a picture AND not care if it gets posted on the web for all the world to see. (The other one is my Dad in case you’re wondering).

4. He is a yarn enabler. If I ‘feel the need’ as it were and don’t have the funds, all I have to do is ask. I swear. Okay this isn’t completely true these days now that the stash has grown beyond control, but as soon as I have it wrangled back into submission I know who to turn to to help me get my ‘fix’ ;o)

5. He’s also pretty silly. Exhibit 1:

Here’s a hint…look below the quilt. So much for sending a dignified ‘here’s your kid’s Christmas gift’ picture.

Exhibit 2 (that’s a One Skein Wonder in case you’re curious):

’nuff said.

So Happy Birthday hon, and thanks for putting up with me (and getting up with the dog) for all these years - oh, and thanks for helping me raise Heather, too ;o) We both love you lots and lots!!!

Happy Birthday to…Abi!
