…I’ve fallen off the face of the planet or something. It’s been a week since I’ve posted and that entire week was spent either knitting someone’s Christmas present or working on this site. Okay, it was mostly working on this site. I found this awesome blogging platform called Serendipity and I just had to use it. It’s actually taken me more than a week to get here – it’s been more like three weeks. First I stumbled upon Serendipity…it must have been…serendipity or something ;o) then I had to find a good hosting company (which I did) THEN I had to figure out how to make it look like my old blog (which I finally did – sort-of. The expanding menus aren’t the same because I couldn’t get the code to cooperate). You would not believe the time I put into this freakin’ endeavor!

Anyway, want some knitting content? I still have to get you finished ‘Simple V’ pictures – I have worn it, several times, there just hasn’t been a good ‘hair moment’ involved in the wearing as of yet ;o) I have finished one Christmas present and am one third into the second! This is going pretty durned quickly if I do say so myself (thank God). Now I have to figure out a way to let Roger down easily – he ain’t getting his socks before Christmas. It is not happening. No freakin’ way. I love the man dearly however, the schedule just doesn’t permit it. I’m getting major dental work done (again) on Thursday so I’ll be out for who knows how long on the pain pills so I’m doubting I’ll get anything done in the meantime and then once I’m better I’ll be too depressed that I can’t eat anything but pudding to be able to do anything ;o) What am I having done, you ask? Only two implants in the lower jaw – that’s where they put in titanium bolts. YEAH I SAID BOLTS – FREAKING OUT HERE. The bolts are then topped with porcelain crowns after they’ve had six months to heal – yeah, six months. Six freakin’ months of pudding. ack. Anyway, I’ll keep you guys up to date on my progress – right now, though, I’m just trying to deal with functioning until Thursday morning. I hate the dentist. Well, not MY dentist, I love my dentist, it’s the drilling I have issues with. Major issues. They actually gave me valium to take the night before, that’s how freaked I am.

Okay now I’m late for work…ttyl :o)
