…or easily led. You choose.
First up, we have the Knitting Olympics. I was the 350-something-th person to sign up so I’m not surprised that I haven’t been added to the list as of yet (especially considering the Harlot spent like two days in the hospital last week) and it also didn’t help that I hadn’t made up my mind what I was going to make when my hands were taken over by some strange force and started typing a comment saying I’d LOVE to be involved. I finally made up my mind and will be knitting the Huntington Castle sweater from the fall ’04 Interweave:
RR is from Huntington, LI so this sweater has special meaning (apparently just the name ‘Huntington’ since as far as I know there isn’t a ‘castle’ in Huntington – wait, maybe there is? – and the blurb on the pattern states that the designer was inspired by ‘her favorite fiddle tune’)
Next up we have Carole’s anti-stash-along. You’ve all heard of the Stash-Along – this is the complete and utter opposite for those of us who just can’t resist retail therapy. Since I’ve already purchased two skeins of LL, two balls of trekking and 17 balls of Knitpicks Wool of the Andes for my olympic sweater I think I’m doing pretty good so far ;o)
That’s it….so far….
