So did you think I was kidding…

<p>…when I said I had the worst memory in the world for remembering names? I’ve been trying my damndest for a whole day to <a target="_blank" href="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/exit.php?url_id=1175&amp;entry_id=186" title="http://mamacate.typepad.com" onmouseover="window.status=’http://mamacate.typepad.com’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;">remember</a> <a target="_blank" href="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/exit.php?url_id=1176&amp;entry_id=186" title="http://www.thegabbyknitter.com/" onmouseover="window.status=’http://www.thegabbyknitter.com/’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;">everyone</a> I <a target="_blank" href="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/exit.php?url_id=1177&amp;entry_id=186" title="http://knitigator.typepad.com/" onmouseover="window.status=’http://knitigator.typepad.com/’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;">met</a> Saturday at the CT S&amp;W show but I’m having a helluva time. You’d think since I had a two hour drive to reflect on the show that I’d be able to remember more, but no. The easiest one for me to remember is <a target="_blank" href="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/exit.php?url_id=1178&amp;entry_id=186" title="http://k-knit.blogspot.com/" onmouseover="window.status=’http://k-knit.blogspot.com/’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;">Karen</a> since we planned on meeting there and spent most of the day together ;o) Anyone who wants to help poor little ole blonde me…? Just leave a shout in the comments – and Carole? I meant it when I asked for a list ;o) I need to get with it and read some more ‘regional’ blogs ;o)</p><p>I did see a bunch of bloggers that I <a target="_blank" href="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/exit.php?url_id=1179&amp;entry_id=186" title="http://almostfelted.knitblog.com/" onmouseover="window.status=’http://almostfelted.knitblog.com/’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;">had</a> <a target="_blank" href="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/exit.php?url_id=1180&amp;entry_id=186" title="http://caroleknits.knitblog.com/" onmouseover="window.status=’http://caroleknits.knitblog.com/’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;">already</a> met which was very cool ;o) </p><p>There was a little blogger picnic that unfortunately I hadn’t heard about until minutes before so I didn’t bring anything (thanks Carole, Blogless Sharon and Blogless Sharon’s daughter, (who is also blogless) Heather for feeding me!)</p><p>Knitters are awesome ;o)</p><p>I have photos, but nothing yet of what I purchased and my brain is so fried right now that there is no way I could get it all to make sense for you guys tonight. We spent the day today burning (branches, etc. in the back yard) so I’m just exhausted. I promise, a better post tomorrow…</p><p>…must….sleep…</p><p />

Open Letter to all WIP’s…

<p>…you may want to pay attention. This is important to your survival.</p><p>Learn from your brethren. Stay quietly in your designated spots and wait for me to decide when it’s your turn to be in the spotlight.</p><p>If you do, however, decide to get uppity I will not be held responsible for how I react.</p><p>Witness:</p><p /><p><a href="uploads/Photos/04-28-06006.jpg" onclick="F1 = window.open(’/uploads/Photos/04-28-06006.jpg’,'Zoom’,'height=495,width=655,top=144,left=320,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,resize=1,resizable=1,scrollbars=yes’); return false;"><img width="175" height="131" style="border: 0px none ; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" src="uploads/Photos/04-28-06006.serendipityThumb.jpg" alt="" /></a></p><p>Stay quiet or I will wind you into yarn cakes.</p><p>And, have fun doing it. In fact, I’ll make it a party. I’ll even get non-knitting friends involved.</p><p><a onclick="F1 = window.open(’/uploads/Photos/04-28-06001.jpg’,'Zoom’,'height=495,width=655,top=144,left=320,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,resize=1,resizable=1,scrollbars=yes’); return false;" href="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/uploads/Photos/04-28-06001.jpg"><img width="175" height="131" src="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/uploads/Photos/04-28-06001.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; float: left; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" /></a></p><p><a onclick="F1 = window.open(’/uploads/Photos/04-28-06005.jpg’,'Zoom’,'height=495,width=655,top=144,left=320,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,resize=1,resizable=1,scrollbars=yes’); return false;" href="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/uploads/Photos/04-28-06005.jpg"><img width="175" height="131" src="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/uploads/Photos/04-28-06005.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" /></a></p><p>and THEY’LL have fun playing with the whirly thing they’ve been mocking for months.</p><p>So there.</p><p />

Are you aware….

<p>..that it is National TV Turnoff Week? Yep, it’s time to shut off the boob toob and take a week to get to know your family a bit better. Take a drive in the country (or, as we call it, go to the grocery store), a walk in the woods (or, again, as we call it, walk to the car), or you can do what we do when the knitting/talking/driving/walking gets old.</p><p>Decorate whoever falls asleep first. </p><p align="center"><a href="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/uploads/Photos/04-26-06009.jpg" onclick="F1 = window.open(’/uploads/Photos/04-26-06009.jpg’,'Zoom’,'height=435,width=655,top=174,left=320,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,resize=1,resizable=1,scrollbars=yes’); return false;"><img width="110" height="72" style="border: 0px none ; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" src="http://jessaluknits.yarncourtesans.com/uploads/Photos/04-26-06009.serendipityThumb.jpg" alt="" /></a></p><p align="left"><i>OKC: I worked on DFS last night – apparently one of my projects has decided to get a bit uppity. I do not respond well to ‘uppity’ ;o)</i></p>
