Believe it or not, I’ve been knitting…

<p>…can you stand it?</p><p><a onclick="F1 = window.open(‘/uploads/05-10-06012.jpg’,’Zoom’,’height=495,width=655,top=144,left=192,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,resize=1,resizable=1,scrollbars=yes’); return false;" href="http://jessaluknits.com/exit.php?url_id=1339&amp;entry_id=195" title="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/05-10-06012.jpg" onmouseover="window.status=’http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/05-10-06012.jpg’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;"><img style="BORDER-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-RIGHT: 5px; BORDER-TOP: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 5px; BORDER-LEFT: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px" height="131" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/05-10-06012.serendipityThumb.jpg" width="175" alt="" /></a></p><p>I got as far as the short row heel on the 2nd Jaywalker tonight (they apologized and wheedled just enough to get me to take pity on them and take them out of the naughty chair – for now.) I switched needles before starting the heel on this one – hopefully that’ll do the trick so there won’t be any struggling to get them on over my abnormally large ankles.</p><p>I really am stubborn, can ya tell? ;o) These socks <i>will not</i> win.</p><p>I also cast on for CeCe:</p><p><a onclick="F1 = window.open(‘/uploads/Photos/05-10-06015.jpg’,’Zoom’,’height=495,width=505,top=144,left=267,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,resize=1,resizable=1,scrollbars=yes’); return false;" href="http://jessaluknits.com/exit.php?url_id=1340&amp;entry_id=195" title="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/05-10-06015.jpg" onmouseover="window.status=’http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/05-10-06015.jpg’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;"><img style="BORDER-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-RIGHT: 5px; BORDER-TOP: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 5px; BORDER-LEFT: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px" height="171" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/05-10-06015.serendipityThumb.jpg" width="175" alt="" /></a></p><p>This yarn is like buttah. It’s bettah than buttah. I’m not sure what exactly is bettah than buttah but I’ll tell you that this yarn? Is better. Oh my heck is it soft.  Run, do not walk to your nearest <span title="Local Yarn Shop" class="serendipity_glossaryMarkup">LYS</span> and purchase it. OR order it from Webs. Tell them the crazy knitter who is allergic to alpaca sent you. (No, seriously. They know who I am. Because I am allergic to alpaca. ’tis frightening.) It’s a little eensy weensy bit splitty but who cares? It’s so fricken soft – that makes up for everything else ;o)</p><p><em>Edited to add:  Dummy me should probably tell you what yarn it is (Cascade Pima Tencel) and give you a </em><a href="http://jessaluknits.com/exit.php?url_id=1341&amp;entry_id=195" title="http://www.yarn.com/yarns-knitting/pima_tencel.html" onmouseover="window.status=’http://www.yarn.com/yarns-knitting/pima_tencel.html’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;" target="_blank"><em>link to Webs</em></a><em>, eh?  *smacks forehead* ow.</em></p><p>And I’ve been working on the DFS. I’m almost through the seventh repeat. No photos since it looks about the same as the picture over there *gestures to the left* only bigger. </p><p>Okay that’s all for now – I’m endeavoring to get my ass in bed before 11pm from now on so maybe I’ll be able to retain more information throughout my day. Some days my own name is a challenge and I’m hoping it’s the sleep deprivation ;o)</p><p />
