<p>…a girl needs a change.<img width="131" height="175" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/PICT4637-medium.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; float: right; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" /></p><p>You know, a little pick-me-up. Something to make her feel alive and that will also make her feel that the other people in her life can ‘see’ her again.</p><p>For some, they just do a little change-up in the hair color. Others, they buy a few additions to their wardrobe.</p><p>Then there are the girls that cut eleven and a half inches off of their hair.</p><p>I would fall into that 2nd category. </p><p>I’ve been saying for a while that I wanted to <strike>shake off that monkey on my back</strike> cut my hair. It was a huuuuuge burden, gave me headaches, wallet-aches and took waaaay too much time to wash and dry. I had made an appointment back in February to get a ‘trim’ today but I decided to *really* get a trim. Unfortunately, I had no idea just how long my hair was or I would have donated it to Locks of Love. It really <img width="131" height="175" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/PICT4643-medium.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; float: left; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" />bothers me that I didn’t. </p><p>I had told <span title="Roger Rabbit – my SO" class="serendipity_glossaryMarkup">RR</span> that I was going to get my hair cut, but I told him that it would be ‘shoulder length’ and not to worry. So he didn’t ;o) I had had short hair before, right after we met I went and got it <strike>all hacked off </strike>cut. However, that cut was no comparison to this one. Caroline really knows what she’s doing – she about danced around when I said, &quot;I’m done. Cut it off, do whatever you want.&quot; (doesn’t she look awful happy in that picture?)</p><p><a href="http://jessaluknits.com/exit.php?url_id=1374&amp;entry_id=205" title="http://spiderwomanknits.blogspirit.com" onmouseover="window.status=’http://spiderwomanknits.blogspirit.com’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;" target="_blank">Abi</a> went with me to hold <strike>me down</strike> my hand which really helped. Who knows, maybe Ab will decide it’s time for ‘a change’ ;o) (she also took all the photos you see here – thanks again, Abi!)</p><p><img width="175" height="131" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/PICT4640-medium.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; float: left; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" /><img width="131" height="175" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/PICT4642-medium.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; float: left; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" /><img width="131" height="175" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/PICT4645-medium.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" /></p><p><img width="175" height="131" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/PICT4647-medium.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; float: left; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" /><img width="131" height="175" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/PICT4648-medium.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; float: left; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" /><img width="131" height="175" src="http://jessaluknits.com/uploads/Photos/PICT4649-medium.serendipityThumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none ; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px;" alt="" /></p><p /><p>Swear to gawd I feel like I’ve lost 15 lbs. LOVE it! ;o)</p><p>And…RR likes it too ;o)</p>

  • StoryTime Sampler 3 February 2016

I don’t know if this project will stay here, but I wanted a spot to put all of my photos for the current sampler I’m cross stitching.

    02-03-2016

I’ve put this on ‘hibernating’ status since I’m trying to decide what to do - I kind of want to pick my favorite 6 and make a mini sampler since there are some books in the mix that aren’t my favorites
