Well I hope…

…ya’ll learned a few things about me ;o) All but three of the questions were in my ‘100 Things’ list (which is on my ‘About Me’ page) *grin*

Mindy asked so…a Bugeye Sprite looks like this. The owner says the best cruising speed is 45mph. I beg to differ, hehehe

I’d like to know how many of you were surprised to find out that I can blow stuff up - legally ;o) Dude, the 4th of July totally rocks for us *giggle*

Oh and one more thing…Carole? WTF? TEN? And I thought my memory was bad…

So…uhm…you’re probably here to find out who won?

Without further ado…the winner is…shown here. (haaaa, I’m gonna make you work for it *grin*) The winner will need to email me her mailing address so I can send her the prize (the middle skein of yarn in the picture like, four posts back). Thanks for playing, everyone! I’m sorry I didn’t respond to each of you individually - my email notifications decided to stop working at midnight Thursday. It made for a very interesting weekend. Let’s just say I’m not as impressed with my hosting company as I once was. It’s all back up and working again, thanks to the person who coded my blogging platform. There is something to be said about using a somewhat obscure piece of software to do your blogging - there’s a better chance at getting help from the code writer ;o)

One other thing…my meme for Dye-o-Rama is here. So, if you’re my dye pal go check it out (you can check it if your curious, too)

Sunday, May 14th, 2006

…Happy Mother’s Day!

May you have a day free from whining, complaining, dirty dishes, vacuuming and generally picking up after your offspring ;o)

And, a day full of knitting or spinning or just doing nothing - whatever floats yer boat!

I’ll be here, on the couch, being waited on hand and foot if ya’ll need me *grin*

Oh, eating my breakfast which was delivered just moments ago…

That would be eggs benedict and hash browns - there’s one thing that’s good about having a teen. Your Mother’s Day breakfasts get better when they get older ;o)

Go ahead and keep taking the quiz, etc. You have ’til midnight tonight. I’ll post the winner of the yarn tomorrow morning!

Well slap my ass and…

…call me Nancy Judy* (I love John Lovitz, he’s a hoot! Who can tell me where that line is from?) there’s another quiz making the rounds of blogland and God forbid I be left behind the bandwagon ;o)

So without further ado, take my quiz :o)

Oh, and if more than 5 ppl take it I’ll give away some sock yarn. That I dyed. I reskeined it and it looks loverly ;o) (toldja I’d give it away) Oh, and I hate to disappoint but I gave the hank of Red Hat stuff to Abi, she needed something with those colors to knit up for her MIL. Thank you all for your kind suggestions and moral support with this dyeing thing, it’s much appreciated :o)

So you know the drill, take the quiz but be sure to leave a comment ‘cuz that’s where I’m drawing the prize from ;o)

*I have been informed by my daughter that I had the wrong name. DOH!
