What the hell…

…is up with the fricken’ weather lately? I’m starting to feel like I’ve moved to Ireland except there are no cute guys in kilts and everybody still has the same old boring New England accent…wtf?

I mean, is it me or are we getting more rain than…well, ever?

I gotta see some sun soon – or I’m gonna lose it. As it is I’m having a helluva time getting out of bed in the morning and staying awake all day. I almost took a nap this afternoon – A. NAP.

It’s JUNE EIGHTH for cripes sake. I should be driving around with all the windows, the SUNroof open and the radio cranked so loud you can hear me coming a mile away. I cut my HAIR OFF so I could do that this summer with no issues. This bites monkey ass.

So this lovely feeling of half-asleep-ness has kinda killed my knitting/spinning/blogging mojo. I’m sorry guys but when everything is cold, clammy and wet all I want to do is curl up under an electric blanket and crank the heat up. (oh, and watch movies on my new TV, heh.)

If I could afford it I’d be on my way to someplace nice and warm…who’s with me?

(and don’t even go there, Scout. I know you have lovely sunny cloudless days every day…blah blah blah…enough already!) ;o)

Edited to Add: Photo of me with guys in kilts taken March 18, 1999 in Dublin, Ireland. ;o)
