…and Saturday was the coldest, cloudiest, windiest day yet. Gawd this sucks.

Of course it was cold and crappy. It was Worldwide Knit in Public Day and Abi and I were planning on sitting in the middle of a park. I take full responsibility for the crappy weather – you all know my luck – it was in full force on Saturday (weather-wise, that is).

But even though it was just me and Ab (and later on her hubby and offspring) we KIP’d and felt ‘at one’ with the knitting universe ;o)

Greg (SWK’s hubby) even did some interpretive knitting:

Kind of interesting to hear what he thinks (hopes?) we knitters think of while we’re practicing the craft…I’m positive that I’ve thought of the first two things he lists (Lavender and sock yarn) but I’m pretty sure that most of us don’t think about the last two…or I could be completely wrong ;o) Sorry the sound is so bad…his ‘technique’ is rather interesting, too ;o)

I also have been trying to organize my ‘Daily Reads’ a bit better – notice I have a new list over there –> for ‘New England’ Bloggers. I tried to make an educated guess on some of them – but most of you guys I have met at fiber fests so I had a pretty good idea of who is from where. If you are on my Daily Reads list and live in New England (MA, VT, NH, ME and CT) and I didn’t move you, please let me know (and if you don’t and I moved you please let me know). Thanks for helping me get more organized :o)

P.S. THE SUN IS OUT THIS MORNING!!! W000t! Of course, I have to work today so I’ll be stuck in the office ’til 2:30 :o(

P.P.S. For those of us who use Firefox – I found THE. COOLEST. extension this weekend. It’s called ‘RiteofTongue’ and it adds the ability to spell-check your blog entries. You highlight the word you’re unsure about, right click and voila! Rite of Tongue looks up whether it’s spelled correctly or not and gives you suggestions for the correct spelling. If you want it – get it here. All of us who have spelling OCD will thank you ;o)

  • StoryTime Sampler 3 February 2016

I don’t know if this project will stay here, but I wanted a spot to put all of my photos for the current sampler I’m cross stitching.

I’ve put this on ‘hibernating’ status since I’m trying to decide what to do - I kind of want to pick my favorite 6 and make a mini sampler since there are some books in the mix that aren’t my favorites
