Well hello – welcome to Friday :o)

So far this week I’ve managed to work on the Wyvern sockage and CeCe. And spinning, a little bit.

The Wyverns are making good progress. I broke them up and am knitting them one at a time – it moves along much faster that way. I completed most of the one on the right while watching The Wizard of Oz on TMC last week.

I picked up CeCe again last night and worked a few rows. I think that I managed to fix where I screwed up the pattern – or at least fudged it enough so that when I block it, the mistake will only be noticeable to me. ;o)

I also pulled out the French Market Bag that I started while we were at the car show over Father’s Day weekend. Since this is mind-numbing stockinette in the round at this point it will be good car knitting and knitting group knitting. I’m considering doubling up on the yarn and going up a few needle sizes at this point. Since I’m still towards the bottom it won’t be as noticeable and hopefully it’ll be done faster that way.

That wraps up the knitting portion of our program – now it’s on to the spinning!

Which is pretty boring this week. So boring, in fact, that my camera refused to photograph it. I’m spinning the ‘Flames’ Grafton batt which itself isn’t boring, it’s actually pretty cool how the colors are coming together. Honestly though, how many photos do you guys want to see of singles on the bobbin? ;o)

I did get my plastic storage bobbins from Webs and my electric bobbin winder off of Ebay this week so THAT was pretty exciting. Do you guys have any idea how fast these suckers are?!? Amazingly fast. So fast that they can get a teenager to look away from the television. I know, I was pretty impressed, too.

For ‘Alongs’ this week I’ve signed up for

the ‘Fiber Aboard’ swap. This looks pretty cool, I can’t wait!

I think that about wraps it up this week – it’s been a pretty stressful one. Tomorrow is a Big Day but I’m not going to let you know what that means until…well, until tomorrow! (and if you know what tomorrow will bring – DON’T say it! ;o) )

One more thing – a great big THANK YOU to everyone for your complements on my plying, they are much appreciated :o)

ETA: Apparently my site was down for part of the day so I’m republishing this…you’d think that if your hosting company were upgrading stuff they’d check to see if they FUBAR’d their clients….
