Thanks for all your good wishes and ideas for preserving my identity :o) I think I might have figured out (with my Dad’s help) how my card information got out. Apparently, if you used your credit card at a TJ Maxx owned store (like Marshall’s or Homegoods or…TJ Maxx) during the past year, someone has your info. You can read about it here - and keep an eye on your accounts. They haven’t specifically said Homegoods but I know they are owned by TJ Maxx so odds are good they are also involved. Frightening.
