Oh the horror…
It all started innocently enough – doesn’t it always? I had run out of clean hand knit sockage so I threw a bunch of them into the sink to soak without really looking and let them sit for about 20 minutes. The horror began when I took them out to dry. The first few were okay…then I took out the p-sockage. (you know the pair, I had to fix the toe on one about a month ago) The first one was fine the next…
…not so fine. Let me share with you the vision that made me go all Nancy Kerrigan in the middle of my kitchen:
Say it with me now, “Why?! WHY?!?! W H Y ?!?!?!”
