ECF…
…the last Christmas Tree version of this season.
The other day, when I was taking down the tree, I decided to take a peek at it through the ribbon that I had tucked in the branches.
Pretty cool effect, eh? We added a few colored lights after I took that last pictures to try to warm up the tree – those LED lights are pretty, and cheap (our electric bill went up $30 for the month of December/January but I was also running the fireplace heather thingy every day) but they have a very cold presence. So I caved. Color on the tree. It wasn’t too bad…I survived! hehe

We have white lights everywhere except the tree which has colored lights. I like the bit of color there.

Our electric bill went up $30 as well, hmmm…for similar reasons (had to crank the heat).

The LED lights definitely do have a cold feel and the whole point of the tree is to warm up the season (at least that was the point in paganism!)
