Original title, isn’t it? ;o)
I have a small confession to make: I’m a sucker for something with a bee on it. A little bit before Christmas I was looking through the Country Curtains catalog and came across some wonderful lace curtains that had the cutest little honey bees on them. I managed to hold out until this week when I just couldn’t take it anymore and I bought them:
Aren’t they pretty? I decided that this purchase was okay because #1 they make me happy, #2 Country Curtains is a local company (the bad thing? They’re a bit overpriced – but I’m too impatient to wait for the next seconds sale which is like months away) and #3 I’m seeing the light at the end of the tax preparation tunnel (praise be to the GSD). I took the time to go to the actual store in Stockbridge to buy them because I couldn’t justify $12 for shipping – even though that seems like a low price to pay to avoid the tourist mecca that is Stockbridge. ;o)
In knitting news, I think I’ve decided on buttons. Thank you all for your complements on my sweater (and me – you’ll make a girl blush, ya know) and all your votes on the buttons. You’re going to have to wait ’til next week to see what I decided, though!
Have a great weekend!

Maybe I should save this for the next gift-giving occasion: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2225/2335900610_3bafc2172d_b.jpg
Remind me when the sale starts. I need some new curtains.
Cute curtains. I used to have kitchen curtains that were white with bees and butterflies in different colors embroidered on them. It’s about the only time I like bugs.
Curtains that make you happy are good – esp. if they have bees on them! bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Cute curtains and very appropriate for Spring. I use a very similar method of justifying purchases. Which I will use a lot at the beginning of May for the MSW Festival :).
I was figuring you would justify simply because you wanted it! Beautiful curtains. I like the bees on them too, very cute.
Yes. The curtains are pretty. Soft and subtle but with BEES!!! :-) What could be wrong with that?
