Finished!!
…not the CPH, sorry to disappoint. I’m still fighting with a button decision – who knows? Maybe I’ll forgo them completely!
I did, however, finish a project that had been hanging out on my needles since May of last year, my Central Air socks from the Rockin’ Sock Club 2006:
The colorway is PeaseBlossom and I knit them on size 2.5mm KnitPicks circulars. The reason these took so long is that they hurt my hands to knit them, I think because there are so many k2tog and ssk on every other row.
I’m so glad to finally have these finished – I didn’t realize I started them almost a year ago!! Yikes!
In other news, for those watching the new Austen on Masterpiece, what did you think of the first installment of the new Sense & Sensibility last night?

Most excellent socks!
OMG I love the chicken dish! It is distracting me from looking at the socks. ;) I DVR’d the Sense and Sensibility – can’t wait to watch it!
I loved Sense and Sensibility! I watched it this morning after the kids went to school. Willoughby in the movie version is too likeable–the Willoughby in this version is perfectly smarmy. I can’t wait for next week.
I like your socks–I think I’m going to have to hunt down the pattern over at Blue Moon. They are so cute, and I LOVE the color!
I can’t wait for next week.. big problem, I think I’ll be out of town, as in on the road and will miss it.
Love the sock.
Those are my favorite socks! I wear them all the time. Yours are just as lovely.
Haven’t seen Masterpiece. Sorry. :-(
How can she possibly think that Willoughby is more handsome than Colonel Brandon?? Edward Ferrars, though? Very cute!
Gorgeous socks!
Lovely socks. Besides the chicken bowl distracting me, so are your legs :) I’m thinking to myself I would so have to photoshop myself to take the same photo.
Love the colors!
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one that takes a year to finish a project. The socks look great.
Those socks count as eye candy too! The pattern looks like Lace Rib from the first Walker treasury, or a relative anyway.
Very pretty socks!
Very pretty! Love that colorway.
Austen on Masterpiece? that could make me want a TV.
Very pretty! Well worth the time it took to finish them I think.
Cool socks, they look pretty.
