Saturday Sky…
…on Sunday. I hope you don’t mind that it’s late, but I had to wait until it was nice and dark out to take these shots.
We drove through the Badlands tonight on our way home and noticed how cool everything looked under the full moon. After we set up our camper at tne KOA, we drove back and pulled out the camera and tripod. ;o)
How did I do this? I put the aperture at f4.0 and held the shutter open for 20 seconds each shot. These shots are the coolest photos I’ve taken so far – and are my personal favorite. They kind of make me feel like I’m getting the hang of this… ;o)
Well, it’s not Friday anymore…
…but you’ll get eye candy anyway. ;o) Here is a shot from tonight’s show:

My first…
…try at pyrotechnic photography. This one was a multi-exposure shot (I held the shutter open and covered the lens between shells). I think they’re pretty cool – let me know what you think!

Thanks for all the well-wishes regarding Lumpy’s injury – he’s fine, except now he has an untanned patch on his forehead around the wound…which is actually pretty funny, hehehe. I haven’t responded individually to your comments yet because I haven’t really had a chance to sit at the puter – but I do want you all to know they are very much appreciated. :o)
