aaaahhhh Rhinebeck…

…this festival is bittersweet for me.  I love seeing all my peeps and yet this is the festival that signals deep Fall and the onset of Winter, which is always a tough time for me.

Who did I go with?  The person I spent most of my time with was Risa, but I did spend some time with Tina, Carole and all my usual eastern mass buds.  I saw so many people it is hard to keep track, I’m sure someone did a linkfest somewhere and as soon as I see it, I’ll post a link to it here.  ETA:  Risa has done a link list here.  Thanks for doing all the work for me!  lol I also didn’t take very many pictures this year, I was too busy being ‘in the moment’ and not pulling out the camera every five seconds (okay and maybe I forgot it in the car on Saturday *ahem*) but the ones I did take are pretty (at least, I think so) so I’ll share:

Rhinebeck 2008

That last one?  Is my personal favorite.  ;o)  If you want to see what’s inside, you’re going to have to wait!

It was so awesome to run into you not just one day but both! You girls looked like you were having a blast. Even though Risa got to antsy on Sunday and held her own “sit-in” until you were done! lol God I wish I had my camera out, she is way to funny! Can’t wait to see your loot tomorrow night.

  2. Yeah, doing all the links was exhausting! (You DID make it into one of my pictures, you know.) I’m glad I got to see you, though, and this year, we really DO have to manage to see each other in between! You should come for the weekend!

It was great to see you and Risa yesterday! My husband totally got into all of the info you gave him on spinning wheels. I’m still torn between the Sonato and the Ladybug. Ugh. Wish I could just make up my mind! Just read a whole thread on Ravelry about the Lendrum wheels. Do you know those at all?
Love your photos! The ones of Lake George are spectacular!!

  4. Great meeting you! I had fun hanging with you and Risa (when I didn’t disappear for a “little” retail therapy into the travelling trailer of temptation!).
Love your pics of the fall colours and umm, I don’t have ONE pic of bloggers at the festival. Except Risa and she will kill me if I put it on my blog. LOL
