Rhinebeck haul!
What did I get? A little of this and a bit of that…
1. Foxhill Farm Cormo; 2. Steam Valley Fiber sock yarn; 3. Foxfire Border Leicester & Mohair; 4. Blue Ridge Yarns Bambie in Evening Rain (purchased for me by Carole as a thank you for being her WP code monkey – thanks again, Carole!); 5. Clover Leaf Farms Merino/Silk in Cranberry Bog; 6. Clover Leaf Farms Merino in Mountain Leaves; 7. Clover Leaf Farms Wool/Silk in Autumn; 8. Two Grafton Batts (I may have knocked over an old lady to get these…it’s all a blur); 9. Frabjous Fibers BFL in Cottage Garden; 10. Frabjous Fibers BFL in Redwood Forest; 11. Frabjous Fibers in Plum Toast; 12. Brooks Farms Riata
What?! I left a few things for the other shoppers…*ahem* Okay and there are a few more things I need to share but not today, the light was all wrong for picture taking so you’re going to have to wait for those, too! ;o)

aaaahhhh Rhinebeck…
…this festival is bittersweet for me. I love seeing all my peeps and yet this is the festival that signals deep Fall and the onset of Winter, which is always a tough time for me.
Who did I go with? The person I spent most of my time with was Risa, but I did spend some time with Tina, Carole and all my usual eastern mass buds. I saw so many people it is hard to keep track, I’m sure someone did a linkfest somewhere and as soon as I see it, I’ll post a link to it here. ETA: Risa has done a link list here. Thanks for doing all the work for me! lol I also didn’t take very many pictures this year, I was too busy being ‘in the moment’ and not pulling out the camera every five seconds (okay and maybe I forgot it in the car on Saturday *ahem*) but the ones I did take are pretty (at least, I think so) so I’ll share:
That last one? Is my personal favorite. ;o) If you want to see what’s inside, you’re going to have to wait!

Eye Candy Friday…
…the one with all the trees. ;o)
On Monday, it was time to bring the camper home from it’s extended stay at the Lake George RV Park (we had been ‘weekenders’ there since September). We decided to take the scenic route home through the Lake George/Vermont region to take in the autumnal colors (we went up Prospect Mountain sans camper, there was no way were attempting to drag it up the side of that mountain!). This year has turned out quite spectacular – I’m glad we were able to do the tour this year and experience it like the tourists do (slowly, sometimes not in a straight line, braking at odd moments and yelling at each other that ‘we NEED to get a picture of that TREE!’ interspersed with ‘ooooh that one’s pretty!’ ;o) ). Here are a few pictures from our little road trip:
…and finally, for Dave:
Some of these photos were taken by RR (does a pretty good job, doesn’t he? ;o) )
Hope everyone has a great weekend! See you at Rhinebeck! ;o)
