You ask…

…I deliver. Meet Star:

'Star' up close

Star is a Ramboulet/Corriedale cross, light grey with a lovely crimp and so, so soft. She will soon be taking a road trip to be processed – but first I need to do a bit of skirting since I purchased her ‘lightly skirted’. I may or may not have grabbed her out of the grasp of someone who looked to me like they would not love her like I will. *ahem*

What will I be making with her? Yarn. After that? Who knows? ;o)

Oh and Friday is May 1 and the day I’m allowed to pull my next pair of ‘Personal Sock Club’ socks, I can hardly wait!

I, for one, am glad that Star went to a truly loving home. Please please remember to give us pictures after she returns home from her Spa Retreat to freshen up!

OMG!! Now that’s a star of a fleece alright! *getting lightheaded from the virtual fumes* Congrats at ripping it out of the poor woman’s hands! LOL

  3. She’s lovely!

You should do it yourself. Then I can follow in your footsteps when (if) I’m ready.

I’m glad someone is looking forward to pulling more yarn. *L*

  4. I met Star. I smelt Star. I love Star! She sure is lovely close up! Where do you get your stuff processed? I do have one more in the basement that’s creamy and grey like Star.

I don’t know anything about that fiber but the colors look amazing. I am going to Argentina and Chile next week for two weeks – not that I need to buy any more yarn, but any idea on what may be really nummy to try and find to bring home?
