…the one with all the…huh?

This week is supposed to be ’10 Favorite Sports Plays Ever’ which, frankly, does less than nothing for me since I do not watch sports.  Unless it’s the Olympics or the Red Sox are in the playoffs and even then, there is no way I’d remember the play.  SO I’m going to go in the wayback machine and pull out a ToT I didn’t do, 10 Celebrities you’re sick of (in no particular order, except #1, cuz I’m truly sick of her the most):

1.  Rosie.

2.  ‘Speidi’ aka Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.  Enough said.

3.  Janice Dickinson.  I happened to catch an episode of “I’m a Celebrity, get me out of here” and she was on.  So…okay maybe she was ‘the’ supermodel back in the day but now?  She’s loud, obnoxious and all the ‘work’ she’s had done to her face makes her scare small children. and puppies.

4.  Dick Cheney.  He may not be an official ‘celebrity’ but I’m sick of him and his sour grapes trying to undermine the current administration.

5.  Brad Pitt.  He stopped being sexy for me when he cheated on his wife.  Which brings me to…

6.  Angelina Jolie.

7.  Rosie.  Did I mention her?

8 and 9.  Jon AND Kate.  I don’t even watch the show and I can’t stand it anymore.  Who CARES?!?!  I *do* care that those kids are going through a bunch of crap that isn’t their fault HOWEVER I do wonder how much of it is staged.  If she’s so spotlight-hungry she might be orchestrating a whole circus and we don’t even realize it…just sayin’  ;o)

10.  Kelly Bensimon from the Real Housewives of NYC.  Oh she’s awful, just awful.  I just had to look up her last name on the website for this list and got hooked into reading all the comments directed at her regarding her behavior on the show and…apparently, I’m not alone.  ;o)

So there’s my list – what celebrity are you sick of? ;o)

p.s.  Happy Birthday, Mom!

Not a big fan of Angelina Jolie and I’ve never watched Jon & Kate but I do think this divorce is a lot of grandstanding and attention grabbing.

I think you’ve hit the major players… Jon and Kate, indeed. Honestly, they should be ashamed of themselves for putting their kids in a fishbowl like that.

Oprah. Jennifer Anniston needs to put on her big girl panties and get over it!

  • Karen says:

Can I say all of them? If I have to pick one I couldn’t.

  • Chris says:

I try to ignore the whole celebrity thing. You’re not changing my mind here.

  • michelle says:

Man I feel the need to google Jon and Kate cuz I’m totally clueless = but I think I might just stay that way. Thinking clueless is a good thing :)

I loved Janice on the Project Runway. She cracked me up on those early seasons.

I am absolutely with you on all of them – especially Rosie. She just nauseates me.

Good idea. I was trying to think of sports plays and all I could come up with was “um…the one with that guy with the ball that time?”

I pretty much ignore celebrities too, being as I don’t have a TV…that said, Jon and Kate are unavoidable! Damn them! Poor children. Paris Hilton seems to have gone away, so that’s a blessing. Britney…poor Britney…

  • Y’know I get to miss out on all this celebrity crap by not having a tv. I only recognise a couple of people on that list. Hooray! As for top 10 sports plays, well!

    Jon & Kate + the 8 kids = 10! I’m done!

I try to avoid celebrity stuff. I don’t know who Jon and Kate are, but I hear about them all the time, and it’s driving me nuts. I could also live a very happy life without ever hearing about Paris Hilton or Britney Spears again.

  • Cookie says:

I did one in the shower this morning and it was mostly about watching Ozzy do stuff. It’s a sport to me, but I think I may be the only one. *L*

Did you read about the AP interview Kate gave AP back in the day? She believes that people should be paying for her kids upkeep. I feel sorry for the kids and Jon for being trapped by her. Then again, he should have been a man and told her no a long time ago.

Who knew I had an opinion about them? *L*

Agreed with everyone – I don’t follow the celebrity stuff but admit to reading People when I go get my hair cut…

  • Carol says:

Celebrities? What’s that? No, actually right now I am tired of the Perez Hilton ‘he attacked me!”. Yeah, then why were you apparently tweeting about it instead of getting medical care?

  • heide says:

Can’t stand any of them. I’d never heard of John and Kate until the news started telling about them, and even then I’ve not actually read the stories, just the headlines.

  • Sarah says:

I think it is interesting how so much of this celeb stuff snakes its way into our minds, even if we are trying to avoid it. Your list covers quite a few I would prefer not to know more than I do. I am trying to not think of others I could go the rest of my life without hearing from, but then I would just be stirring them up in my mind, and the next thing you know, my gauge is off horribly.

  • Diane says:

Hmmm, I think I’d flunk this. I don’t know who #2, 3 and 10 are. #1/7 is okay in a movie, I just don’t want to listen to her on a talk show. #5 and 6 are OK individually but together, meh. I know who #8 + 9 are but haven’t ever watched them. That leaves #4 and my opinion of him would scorch your ears so I’ll just say I agree with you.

Diane’s last blog post..Is my derriere callipygous?*

  • #2 is only a celeb in their minds. Did ya hear that E! News won’t even print their names anymore. That’s a sigh of relief.

#10 – YES! But I do love Bethenny. Guess I really miss NY.

Oh, you forgot to mention Rosie! :-D
