Cows...and sky...

This week, the three things I am thankful for are…

1.  My new wood stove.  Those of you who follow me on Twitter and FB know that R and I started heating with wood last week.  I’ve never felt warmer (not counting the summer months).

2.  Peppermint Mocha Lattes.  It’s the best part of the Holiday season.  ;o)

3.  Audio books (from the library, no less) – without them, I’d go stir crazy with all the sewing I’ve had to do lately.

What are you thankful for this week?

The photo above is another fall scene  from the archives.  I drive by this pasture on my way to the grocery store.  ;o)

I love our wood stove. The heat is a different kind of heat and it’s wonderful. It’s a lot of work, though. And those peppermint lattes are great but I don’t have a starbucks close by, sadly.

  • Anne says:

Yay for wood stove, audio books and sewing!!

Just because I’m the curious sort, what kind of wood stove did you get?

  • I love seeing what you are thankful for. Makes me think maybe I should post some!

  • Rosa says:

My most favorite home that we owned had an amazing wood stove. I miss that thing. Enjoy!

  • Hillary says:

I’m more of a Gingerbread Latte girl but I bet the peppermint mocha is really good too.

  • Chris says:

Does your library offer downloadable audiobooks? Ours has some and will hopefully get more.

  • Diane S. says:

I’m so glad you are loving your wood stove. You will be so nice & toasty this winter. (Did you pick out a lace or summer project yet? lol)

Peppermint Mocha Lattes…oh the things us non-coffee drinkers miss out on! Sounds delicious though!

Yes the audio books are a blessing aren’t they.Congratulations on all the sewing you’ve gotten done. Your machine must of been hummimg! :-)

    Hugs, Diane

  • Cookie says:

    Still you.

    Love the photo!

  • I am thankful that they fixed the bad circuit board and the problem with the backup fuel pump on the plane before we flew across the Pacific Ocean :-) (even if our plane was 5 hours late but it was verra nice! A shiny new A380 with a fantastic entertainment system)
I am also grateful for having enough money to buy a heap of Stash before we leave the US again.
And for the mail carrier delivering a heap of mail, including a lovely baggie that I will blog about and link to your new shop :-)
