Thank you! …and some knitting progress!
I thank you, RR thanks you and his car club thanks you. All of you. At last count we had 45 comments/entries and even more clicks through to the bank website (and I’m hoping that clicks = votes!). You guys are awesome!! I will tally everything today and pull a random winner for a skein of my yarn tonight – the winner will be posted tomorrow. Good luck to you all!!
The past few weeks have been crazy busy for me. Busy crunching numbers and busy in the sewing room (new bags are going up in the shop today! Probably this afternoon – btw, did you know you could subscribe to an RSS feed for an Artfire or Etsy shop?) which has led me to yearn for ‘down time’ which has led me to do more spinning and, consequently, more knitting. Instead of casting on a new project, I decided to start working through some of my WIPs. First up? My hands have been pretty cold lately so I decided to break out the gloves.
The last time I spoke of my Knotty Gloves was June 18th when I was at this stage of the game:
For some reason, after I posted this, I put them down for almost six months (!). I’m thinking maybe I was intimidated by fingers…ohwell, now they look like this:
Getting there! ;o)

They are looking great. You’ll have warm hands and fingers in no time.

Your gloves are beautiful! I will admit that the fingers would have intimidated me enough not to start them in the first place:(

I love that glove pattern and yours are awesome but I’ll admit I am not going to knit them because of the fingers! When will you know who wins the bank money?

Aha, I see you’re one of those magic loopy people. Did you do that for the fingers too or did you switch to DPNs?

Good luck with the car club! I tried to go and register my vote but something on the bank site tripped my work censor. Boo.
I’m in love with your gloves. Tres chic.

Your Casbah is so beautiful and the glove made me want to knit a pair for myself right away, thank you!
I love that pattern and I even pulled out some cashmere to make it with but I still haven’t started yet. Maybe I’ll get around to it in May. Ha.

Love!
I really need to knit that pattern.
Fingers crossed for RR and his boyz!
Those are great! What do you think about the fingers now? I keep thinking “I should knit gloves”, but then other things get in the way…

I keep avoiding things involving knitted fingers- kind of dumb I know. Your Knotty Gloves look wonderful!
