Aestlight…

…is finished!

Aestlight Shawl

…and that makes me *very* happy.

Aeslight Finished

This shawl is all garter stitch – I never thought I’d actually miss purling.

Hopefully, we’ll have a couple more days if chilly weather so I can wear it at least once before putting it away until the Fall.

Project Details:

Pattern: Aestlight Shawl

Yarn: Malabrigo Sock in Botticelli Red

Needles: Size 6 Knitpicks Options

What’s up next?  Bags.  Bags, bags and more bags.  I feel like the guy on the Dunkin Donuts commercials, I keep wandering in and out of the sewing room muttering, “it’s time to make the baaaags.”

Why all the crazy sewing and muttering?  I’m vending on Saturday, here, along with a bunch of my friends who make fibery stuff (Tina has a list here).  If you are within driving distance, maybe you’ll stop by?  It’s a wonderful show, right on the Hudson with gorgeous views of the river.

If you do stop by, please say hello!  I love to meet blog readers in person – and please tell me who you are because I’m kind of an idiot when it comes to putting faces to names.  ;o)

Okay, time to make the bags!

  1. I LOVE IT! Beautiful color!

I admit that I may be woefully unprepared for this event on Saturday. Why I decided a fiber festival during my last 3 weeks of school was a good idea is beyond me!

In any case, I will see you there:)
