Thanks to everyone for playing, RR is *very* happy that so many people voted! You love him! You really, really love him! (well…the jury is still out on Cookie *aherm* ;op ) As soon as we know who won the grant I will let you know – unfortunately, our friend who works at the bank went on vacation this week and we forgot to check with him about a time frame for notification before he left. He will be back next week and I’ll have a better idea – or we might even know by then whether we won. You guys are AWESOME! Way to show those car guys that fiber people ROCK! ;o)
No ECF this week…
…this week, we have sadness. :o(
I did not have time to post an ECF photo this week because there was a large structure fire in our area. R, as you know, is on the Fire Department and I, as you may not know, am involved in the Auxiliary. Because of that, we spent 14 hours on Friday watching this happen:

Unfortunately, it was a total loss but thankfully, no one was hurt. We had amazing support from surrounding departments, including a neighboring town’s support team who kept the guys hydrated and fed at the scene all day and local businesses who donated food, coffee and in one case a gift card to purchase whatever we needed to make sandwiches.
R just had to go back down to the scene because of a rekindle (the 2nd one since last night). Me? …I’m going back to bed.

…I’m a terrible blogger. It’s been a week and a half since I wrote a post and I’m sorry to be so neglectful. I blame it on all you Holiday shoppers who have been keeping me chained to my sewing machine. ;op (THANK you! hehe)
What have I been up to? Holiday bags:
and maybe a little knitting. The knitting needs to get photographed though and I haven’t had a chance to do that – nothing is at FO stage but I *am* knitting which is a big improvement from even a week ago when I hadn’t touched needles in forEVER.

Only going to be available until the 24th. One of those bags is a Peanuts bag, too! Snoopy! Charlie Brown! Gotta love it! ;o)
