<p>…I *have* been knitting and I have pictures to prove it (spinning is really cool and all but it’s really hard to do when you’re getting a pedicure).</p><p>First, we have the socks. Which, as far as I’m concerned, in the Summertime is *real* knitting. I kind of told a little white lie a couple of posts back, I actually cast on for the bag on Friday at the car show. I worked on it alot the other night, though ;o)</p><p>I think that about covers it…the knitting part, anyway.</p><p><span title="My daughter (The Teen)" class="serendipity_glossaryMarkup">Dobby</span> update: Summer school commences on Wednesday and guess who will be there? Yep that’s right, our own little house-elf. She’s thrilled to pieces and was so excited when I told her that she’d be paying for the class out of her own money I thought she’d pop a blood vessel. Guess who isn’t getting a new cell phone for another month? </p><p>And I didn’t have to point at the sign at all today – because she’s at her father’s (running amuck, I’m sure). She’ll be there until Monday since RR and I are taking a little mini-vacation. </p><p>Where are we going, you ask? Vermont. Camping. I can’t freaking wait. This is the first vacation we’ve taken in I don’t know how long that doesn’t revolve around a <strike>stinkin'</strike> car show. We have a tent, an air mattress and a car full of crap that we can probably live without but I’m a firm believer in over-packing. ;o)<br /> </p><p>Now I just have to figure out what knitting to pack…<br /> </p>
