I did it!

I was a vendor – and I survived!  ;o)

R even looks happy to be there!

There’s even photographic evidence that I exist!

Overall I’d have to say that my first experience as a vendor – on my own, not sharing a space – was pretty good.  I talked to a LOT of people on Saturday which drained this introvert but it was fun hearing the new ideas that people came up with for my bags (I sold one to a 7 year old who will be using it for his snack bag – it had robots on the outside with a glow-in-the-dark-stars on the inside.  He’s going to be the coolest kid in the 2nd grade!) and even more fun to enable in person.  ;o)  I will definitely be doing this again!

I think the best part was sharing the whole tent with friends – there was no competition, no vying for space, no glaring when you stepped into someone elses 10×10 area, it was awesome!  Here are photos of the other booths in our ‘Indie Oasis’:

That about wraps up the Showcase section of Saturday – coming up?  The house and gardens!

(I’ll also be listing some new bags later today and labeling those bags that are ready for immediate shipment in the shop ;o)  )
