Last Monday was my *cough*st birthday so R and I took a trip up to Maine to visit friends and do some touring along the touristy spots – here are a few photos from our trip:
As you can see, I overdose on lobster rolls. It’s a good thing we only do it once a year! ;o) My favorite? The one I get on the first night. Harraseeket Lunch & Lobster makes a wicked good lobstah roll!
Hi all! I’ve been busy (I know, I’ve been saying that for years now, I’m sorry) so I haven’t been posting regularly and I’m sorry. I really do think about blogging but I can never seem to carve out the time. At least I do updates now and then and I don’t overload you with ‘look! bags!’ photos all the time. ;o)
This time I’m going to overload you with ‘look! fireworks!’ photos – we just returned from a week in LaPorte, IN at the 2012 PGI Convention!

Those photos with Roger, Dave and our friend Paul are not photoshopped – I took them while live shells were going off behind them. Pretty cool, yes? You also get to see photos of the setup of the ‘Mega’ and ‘Super’ String of firecrackers – 3+million firecrackers all lit off at once!

I couldn’t be so close and not actually touch it. ;o) Okay it’s back to work for me – the shop reopens on Friday!
…I’m crazy busy but wanted to say a quick hello!
Thank you all for all your congrats on the last post! I’m very happy to be where I am today business-wise and I couldn’t have gotten here without you all!
R and I just took a long weekend – kind of. It was more like half a week since we left on Sunday and came back on Wednesday. We love vacationing opposite of everyone else to avoid the crowds and are super happy that we are able to do that since we’re both self-employed. ANYway…
My Birthday was Sunday the 15th so we threw some stuff into the camper and headed to Maine. It was wonderful. Can you believe I forgot the CAMERA?! I know. Such a blogger fail. I did get a couple of shots that sum up the trip nicely…
I ate a lot of lobster rolls. ;o)
and we made sure to visit Nubble Light – our first visit back since R popped the question there 3 years ago!
We also had a nice visit with Amy aka Spunky Eclectic and family! It was great to be able to hang out with them when we weren’t all vending! I have some goodies that I picked up from her while at her shop but I’m saving those photos for another post. ;o)
Now, back to work for me! ;o)
