Charade Socks

Charade Socks Up Close

Charade Socks Really Up Close

I almost finished these in March – they were done at 12:30something am this morning!  Woo!

Pattern: Charade [Rav Link]

Yarn: Shibui Sock in ‘Pebble’

Needles: Knitpicks 1.5 circs using Magic Loop method

Time: uuuhhh  Three weeks?  I KNOW!!! Considering it’s tax season (see previous post) that’s a minor miracle right there.  Maybe I should call these my Tax Season Miracle socks, hehe

These are warm and squishy and I love them lots!

Up next…who knows?  I have to pull another bag.  No Cookie, we don’t get a month off!  lol

p.s.  Have you heard about this?!  RR has been informed that we will no longer be waiting to purchase a BlueRay player.  I don’t care how much they are and I don’t care that we don’t own any BlueRay movies, even just owning this ONE will make it worth it for me.

At least…

…I was productive.

BFL from spunky

200 yards of chain-plied DK weight BFL purchased from Spunky Eclectic ages ago.  I cannot remember the colorway for the life of me but I think it has something to do with a Forest…I can’t find the band thingy anywhere, either.  It’s probably in the mound of receipts on my desk…anyway, I also have:

Merino from The Painted Sheep

350 yards of chain-plied superwash merino purchased from The Painted Sheep ages upon ages ago.  I do remember the colorway for this, it’s Dublin Bay.  Actually, I don’t remember but my Etsy history does.  ;o)

That’s all I managed to produce this weekend – ohwait I did produce 2.5″ of ribbing on my gloves while watching the Steelers WIN THE SUPERBOWL!  Including the LEGEN…waitforit…DARY 100 yard interception that had me screaming at the TV like a crazy woman, hehe

It was AWESOME.

…and The Office episode wasn’t bad, either.  ;o)

It’s a Beret!

My one-day beret turned into a two-week beret but I don’t mind since I’m so happy with it!  I finished it up this morning then cornered Dobby and made her take a few pictures:

mmm...slouchy. ;o)

It's a Beret!

I wore it to knitting group tonight and my ears were warm!  It was awesome!  I took it off and my hair wasn’t flat and frizzy!  It was a curly-girl miracle!  ;o)

Details (Raveled):

Pattern:  One-Day Beret from Through the Loops!

Yarn:  Persimmon Tree Farm Pot Luck Yarn purchased at Rhinebeck ’07

Needles:  Knitpicks Size 5 for body of hat, 4 for ribbing – magic loop technique used throughout since I hate dpn’s passionately  ;o)

Up next?

Not so matchy-matchy...
