aaaahhhh Rhinebeck…

…this festival is bittersweet for me.  I love seeing all my peeps and yet this is the festival that signals deep Fall and the onset of Winter, which is always a tough time for me.

Who did I go with?  The person I spent most of my time with was Risa, but I did spend some time with Tina, Carole and all my usual eastern mass buds.  I saw so many people it is hard to keep track, I’m sure someone did a linkfest somewhere and as soon as I see it, I’ll post a link to it here.  ETA:  Risa has done a link list here.  Thanks for doing all the work for me!  lol I also didn’t take very many pictures this year, I was too busy being ‘in the moment’ and not pulling out the camera every five seconds (okay and maybe I forgot it in the car on Saturday *ahem*) but the ones I did take are pretty (at least, I think so) so I’ll share:

That last one?  Is my personal favorite.  ;o)  If you want to see what’s inside, you’re going to have to wait!

I was holding out…

…on you. I didn’t show you guys all of my Rhinebeck photos the other day because I felt that some of them were more fitting for my ECF post.

Behold! Autumn color a la Rhinebeck!

ETA: I just found this while going through my Bloglines (WHY I stick with them is beyond me since they don’t pick up my feed half the time and I have to ping them…ANYWAY), Google has set up a donation page for those of us who would like to donate to either the Red Cross or the Salvation Army to help with relief/recovery efforts in the California fires.
